I can help you gain the clarity, confidence and courage to move forward in your divorce journey.
Divorce is extremely destabilizing and disruptive to your life. According to various studies, divorce is the second most stressful event an adult can experience in a lifetime – followed only by the death of a loved one.
Divorce overwhelms everything. Emotions intensify. Change is everywhere. The fear of the unknown prevails. Decision making affects the legal process, property and assets, parenting issues. Managing your emotional journey through divorce will have the greatest impact on the legal and financial outcome of your divorce.
As a person impacted by divorce, you may feel alone… but you are certainly not. It is estimated that 50% of marriages end in divorce.
It is possible to experience a divorce by not only surviving, but also thriving.
• You’re searching for healthy coping skills, practical solutions to problems, and ways to avoid common pitfalls.
• You want to set stronger boundaries, build resilience, and manage your emotions without feeling consumed.
•Clear, confident communication feels out of reach, especially during conflict, and you’re longing for a safe space to share your thoughts with someone who truly “gets it.”
• The weight of divorce feels overwhelming.
• Confusion, fear, anger, and grief are clouding your path.
• Parenting feels harder, decisions seem impossible, and your self-esteem has taken a hit.
• You're wondering what life will look like once this chapter ends.
• You don't have to navigate this alone—there’s a way forward.
When your world feels like it’s falling apart, it’s hard to know where to start. How do you make life-changing decisions when you’re overwhelmed and unsure? Should you even get divorced? If so, what’s the best way forward?
If you are already in the divorce process, how will you find the resilience to make it through? Maybe your divorce is in the past but you are still feeling stuck. How can you create your best future - as your best self?
On top of the emotional weight, there’s the practical side—choosing the right lawyer, preparing for what’s ahead, and managing difficult communication with your ex. If you have children, how do you protect their well-being while navigating your own? With so many opinions coming your way, it’s hard to know who to trust. But you don’t have to do this alone. Together, we’ll find clarity, build a plan, and help you move forward with confidence.

"Kimberly is an excellent counselor. She is smart, empathetic, and gets right into solutions and positive processes that enable growth necessary for self-empowerment.
