"The primary purpose of counseling is to empower the client to deal adequately with life situations, reduce stress, experience personal growth, and make well-informed, rational decisions"
- U.S. Department of Human Services, Mental Health, United States
Studies have shown that the most important component of successful counseling is the connection between the therapist and the client.
I do accept insurance for qualifying services. Depending on your insurance company, I may be "In Network" or "Out of Network". If I am an Out of Network provider for your plan, many times insurance will reimburse all or a portion of the fees for Out of Network providers. Please check with your insurance representative for more detailed information specific to your plan. I suggest calling the number on the back of your card for Behavioral Health. These are some important questions to ask for reimbursement for Behavioral Health:
If you have Out of Network coverage, I can provide you with a receipt (called a Super Bill) to submit to your insurer. If Mental Health therapy is NOT covered by your insurer and you would NOT be reimbursed for it, we can work together to come up with a different solution.
If you are in a crisis or any other person may be in danger due to an issue that is an emergency - please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
